The National Scholars Honor Society welcomes you. The National Scholars Honor Society is a private and independent academic honors organization dedicated to encouraging, recognizing, and rewarding high academic achievement in all areas of study. We are unique in our depth and mission. As an independent academic honors organization, we respectfully decline formal affiliations with all institutions, associations or other organizations. Our membership of students and scholars from university, graduate, and professional programs exemplifies America's brightest minds and top achievers in the Arts, the Sciences, Medicine, Law, and Business. The National Scholars Honor Society is committed to revitalizing the honor society community by challenging and reforming the antiquated habits of the establishment. Our rapid growth to include over 109,000 members proves that the scholars of this nation recognize the importance of our society. The National Scholars Honor Society is the only national honor society to adopt and function by an honor code. Our nation was founded with the fundamental virtues of honor and integrity. The National Scholars Honor Code cultivates these virtues in our membership in the most practical way, creating trust and an atmosphere of respect which all scholars deserve, and should expect from any honor society. We strive to encourage and reward personal growth and development, placing a high value on students who possess a sense of civic responsibility and dedication to our nation's political process. The National Scholars Honor Society does not endorse any particular political views, but rather seeks to respect and honor diversity and debate in all venues.
