In the future, I plan graduating Morehouse College and furthering my studies in psychology at Howard University and Harvard. My career goal is to be a public school teacher, college professor and then open up my own practice in clinical psychology. Due to your generosity, my dreams are becoming more of a reality and because of this my successes are yours.

I deeply appreciate this generous support and thank you again.

"I would like to express my appreciation in being accepted into The National Scholars Honor Society. This has been a great inspiration not only for me, but also for the thousands of other students and graduates who work diligently to be successful in pursuing higher education.
In today’s world, there are several hundred honor. professional and recognition societies and their chapters are active at some 3,000 colleges and universities across the country. The liberal arts, medicine, law, education, music, arts, engineering, architecture, pharmacy, economics, textiles, agriculture, forestry, journalism and sciences are all represented.
The unique positioning of The National Scholars Honor Society is that they honor and represent high academic achievement in all areas of study. The National Scholars Honor Society is concerned with being an academic honors organization dedicated to encouraging, recognizing and rewarding high academic achievement and not with social fraternities and sororities.
I want to thank The National Scholars Honor Society for recognizing and rewarding me for my dedication in pursuing higher education. It has been one of many inspirations for me to become a true life long learner.

… "Since induction into the Society, I have envisioned and captured the copious amount of confidence the Society instilled in me, even as an older, non-traditional student. I’ve gleaned much from this recognition including receiving full scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University. I have gone on to be the Political Chair for the NAACP at MTSU, served as the Founder and Director of Amnesty International at MTSU, and was asked to serve on the State Board for Tennessee Coalition to Abolish State Killing for my efforts and dedication as the Vice-president of the MTSU Chapter of TCASK.
I have developed more capabilities than I ever thought I would: such as lobbying for legislation, public speaking, Social Science Research for Publication, and all the while maintaining a handsome GPA. All of this has been a direct result of your inspiring me to be a better person, and to help others along the way. Your believing in me was all it took for me to start believing in myself and after I graduate I have plans to apply to law school. Your encouragement has meant the most to my inner spirit, which in turn speaks to my mind with motivation. I now know that while we may all go through the vicissitudes of life that eventually experience transcends pain and memories surpass pleasure. When I am 80 and no longer able to be active, I will continue to be indebted to you for giving me the opportunity to shine when I was in college!!!

"I have been very fortunate to come into the US and currently attend college. My parents immigrated to America when I was barely nine years-old, and every day they worked hard to make sure my two siblings and I had as much as a comfortable lifestyle as two factory workers could give their children. My parents came to this country to give myself and my siblings a better opportunity in learning and life. They are both educated people in their native country of Bulgaria. My father graduated the University of Sofia, and my mother came short to graduation but did not finish her final year. They are good parents and ask of only one thing, to put maximum effort in school so we can be successful. I know my parents are proud of me and my educational goals in college. The next four years will be very challenging, but I hope to make my parents and The National Scholars Honor Society proud of my accomplishments, both academically, and outside of the academic community.
Sincerely,
