The National Scholars Honor Society granted over $716,450 in merit based scholarships, membership fee waivers, and honorarium stipends during the 2008 year. We hope to exceed this number in 2009.

The National Scholars Honor Society extends congratulations to our most recent Merit Scholarship recipients.

$5000 general merit awards may be granted to members who display outstanding academic achievement in addition to personal characteristics and accomplishments deemed worthy of recognition and reward by the Scholarship Committee. Merit scholarships are not need based.  All new members are automatically considered for these awards during the acceptance process.
